The loyal fan community of Judith & Mel has had a fixed pilgrimage destination for several years with the restaurant “Zum green court” (Menkens) in Hoykenkamp. This year, the Oldenburg Schlager duo will once again be guests in the beer garden at Schierbroker Straße 75. On Saturday, September 2nd, they invite you to a “Friends and Fans Barbecue”.

After 20 years of “traditional cabbage ride with Judith & Mel”, the two wanted to offer their fans something new with this event. But they don’t just celebrate with their die-hard fans – the barbecue is “generally for all friends of hits and folk music” and “all guests who just want to have fun and enjoy a good time,” says Judith & Mel her friend and folk musician Sanny from East Friesland will be there again.
Grilled food until you are full – also for vegetarians
The plan is for visitors to arrive at the restaurant between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m., with admission starting at 2 p.m. Sanny will start the music at 3 p.m., followed by the first performance by Judith & Mel. Afterwards, innkeeper Gerd Menkens will offer a barbecue until you are full. For vegetarians there is an alternative culinary delight.
After the banquet, the musical guests grab the microphone again. If you feel like dancing afterwards, you can do so in a happy atmosphere with the right music. As Judith & Mel explain, it is ultimately the guests who decide when the “Friends and Fans Barbecue” ends.
