Friendly mosquitoes against dengue fever

A British company is trying to find an innovative solution to the problem of the spread of dengue fever, by using genetic modification techniques to reduce the pressure of mosquitoes that spread the disease.

This technology could represent a major shift in how we fight mosquito-borne diseases.
