The news that Umi Yuni remarried to Abah Agam managed to make a public uproar. In fact, the news of Umi Yuni’s marriage also shocked and disappointed Nurhayati, the mother of the late Ustaz Arifin Ilham.
The reason is, Nurhayati suspects that Umi Yuni’s marriage to Abah Agam will have a bad influence on the Az-Zikra foundation. Moreover, some time ago, Alvin Faiz was suspected of selling waqf land belonging to the late Ustaz Arifin Ilham.
Khuzni, the head of RT Az-Zikra and a friend of Ustaz Arifin Ilham, said Umi Yuni was the coach of the Az-Zikra foundation. While the Az-Zikra foundation has its own body.
“Umi Yuni is the coach here. Meanwhile, the foundation is its own body,” said Khuzni when met at Az-Zikra Sentul, Bogor.
Khuzni also emphasized that Umi Yuni was still part of her extended family even though she had remarried to Abah Agam. In fact, Khuzni said Umi Yuni was the number two important person after the late Ustaz Arifin Ilham in Az-Zikra.
“But whatever the reason, Umi Yuni is a big family and is in the body of the foundation and Az-Zikra. (Still a part of Az-Zikra) oh yes after KH Muhammad Arifin Ilham who is number two,” he explained.
Khuzni also firmly said that the Az-Zikra foundation would continue to run as usual even though Umi Yuni had remarried.
“God willing, the foundation will continue, God willing, keep doing the best,” he concluded.
