How open Katja was about her relationship in the beginning, she has been so closed in the last few months. Since she threw her insecurities on the table, she hasn’t shown Niek on her social media. She also shared a post on Instagram during the holidays in which she hinted not to spend the days with Niek.

“And then all of a sudden you are there. ‘Loser’ chalked on your forehead by your daughter (misspelled so doesn’t count)”, Katja started her story. “My girls are really the greatest happiness in my life. And I also want to say: the holidays are really only really fun for people where everything is top notch in their lives, right?”
She also said that she had removed part of her post. ,,And… -I just erased the rest because otherwise there will probably be another reason for… – Well, I just want to say: if you don’t just frolic around a Christmas tree these days: you’re not alone.”
Cracks
What is going on? “In December the first cracks would have appeared in their relationship and Katja would have been alone since the new year,” says a source in the Weekend magazine. That would explain why Niek was not there on February 19, Katja’s 48th birthday. Katja shared a photo with her friends at the time.

What does Niek himself say about the breakup? “I don’t feel like responding to this,” he says in conversation with Weekend. “It’s just going great, so leave me alone, I would say.” It is not clear whether Niek is talking about the relationship or just about himself.
