The former Germany boss of Thomas Cook, long-time TUI manager and founder of the tour operator Viamonda, Michael Tenzer, is to support the management consultancy Dr. Fried & Partner in transactions of tourism companies.
In order to be able to offer potential customers better solutions for increasingly demanding tasks, the management consultancy says it has been able to gain Tenzer, an expert with many years of management responsibility. Tenzer worked for Thomas Cook, was responsible for the TUI luxury brand Airtours for a time and left Cook, where he was CEO of Central Europe, in 2015. He then built up the tour operator Viamonda, whose activities were discontinued last year. The Swiss tour operator Twerenbold took over the technology.
Tenzer’s knowledge of analog and digital business models of different sizes and technological bases enables Dr. Fried & Partner to effectively design the necessary digital transformation for clients and to develop profound strategies and implementation plans, the consulting firm says. In addition, he will be used to support the processes involved in corporate transactions.
The tourism expert also runs the consulting and management company Ad Growth, which he founded, and works as a freelancer for the management consultancy Simon-Kucher.
