‘Fried’ Like Round Tofu, 3 Shares Monitored by the Indonesian Stock Exchange Authority

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) announced an unusual market activity (UMA) for three issuers, namely, PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (SMBR), PT Pool Advista Finance Tbk (POLA), and PT Island Concepts Indonesia Tbk (ICON).

This announcement was made by the Head of the Transaction Supervision Division, Lidia M. Panjaitan and the Head of the Trade Regulation and Operations Division, Irvan Susandy in a letter on December 7, 2020.

“The UMA announcement does not indicate a violation of legislation in the capital market,” the announcement read, quoted on Tuesday (8/12/2020).


In today’s trading, SMBR’s shares were observed to have risen 3.25% to the level of Rp 1,270 per share and had touched the level of Rp 1,370 per share. In the past week, SMBR’s shares have risen 29.59%.

Meanwhile, POLA shares also moved up 34.56% to the level of Rp 183 per share. In the past week this stock has grown by 252%

Meanwhile, ICON shares also rose 34.02% to Rp 130 per share, up 33 points. In the last week ICON shares have increased by 140.74%.

In connection with the unusual market activity (UMA) in SMBR, POLA, and ICON shares, the stock exchange is currently observing the development of the transaction patterns of the three stocks.

The IDX asks investors to pay attention to the answers of listed companies to exchange confirmation requests and to pay close attention to the performance of listed companies and their disclosure of information.

Then, review the corporate action plan of the listed company if the plan has not been approved by the GMS. Finally, consider the various possibilities that may arise at a later date before making an investment decision.
