According to the newspaper, citing its source, the oligarch was released on bail.
“Friedman was arrested by the police. But, according to our information, he was released on bail,” the source said.
The interlocutor also noted that there is no other information about the detention so far.
Note, as previously noted, A 58-year-old Russian businessman arrested in Britain on charges of money laundering, conspiracy to defraud the Ministry of the Interior and conspiracy.
Also arrested as part of the deal were:
- A 35-year-old man is an employee of the villa where the 58-year-old inmate lived. The former was arrested as he left his house with a bag containing thousands of pounds in cash. He is suspected of money laundering and obstruction of police work;
- 39-year-old male – suspected of money laundering and conspiracy.

“I’m fine, I meet friends on the weekend,” the oligarch told Forbes.
