Even though it is June and a hot day is not surprising, Friday has been particularly hot with the addition that the air quality is bad.
One of the hottest days of the year – when summer has not officially begun.
At least in the afternoon showers are expected.
The city has issued an air quality advisory for Friday.
“Health advisory on air quality: from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on June 2. People with respiratory problems such as asthma should reduce intense efforts outdoors,” read a message on networks social in one of the city accounts.

The National Meteorological Service for its part, referred to the hot weather.
“It will be hot in much of the area with temperatures reaching the 80s and 90s in the interior and the urban metro, with cooler conditions along the coast,” the Service wrote in a social media post.
“Showers develop in the late afternoon before a cold front approaches,” the message continues.
