The musical comedy ‘Friday, the new Addams Family’ will offer a show for all audiences next Saturday, October 28, at 12:00 p.m., at the Teatro Unión Tejina. For 90 minutes, attendees will be able to enjoy an unpublished story that tells a new romance of the teenager Wednesday Addams.
The play, with book and direction by Árgel Campos, pays tribute to the Broadway musical ‘The Addams Family’, nominated for two Tony Awards. Campos, a semi-finalist on La Voz España and winner of international awards, has worked on musicals and operas such as ‘Jesucristo Superstar’, ‘Evita’ and ‘La Traviata’.
The artist has also been in charge of the vocal direction of the cast that will give life to the mythical characters of the peculiar family, such as Gómez, Morticia or Fétido, in addition to new additions that the audience will discover throughout the comedy.
The young protagonist begins the plot when she falls in love with a boy who does not comply with the terrifying values of his family. As a consequence, Wednesday she will decide to create an alter ego called Friday that will turn everything upside down.
