Gap – Grenoble 3-6

Winners this Friday evening at the Alp’Arena, the Grenoblois scored a sixth success in a row in the championship. As for the Gapençais, they suffered their 11th setback of the season in 15 days, and remain stuck in the second part of the table.

However, everything started better for the Raptors, who struck first, after a magical recovery from Meisaari in the stick of Julien Correia. The Gapençais top scorer came forward and fired a shot as sublime as it was sudden to the right of Stepanek, who had to bow. Stung, Grenoble reacted, finding the post or Richard in his path. Then equalized on his second superiority of the match by Deschamps. Logic.

From the start of the second act, new Grenoble superiority, and new goal, this time the work of Lavoie, top scorer in the championship. Led, Gap did not give up, on the contrary, but did not take advantage of a double superiority in the middle of the period to equalize. Period concluded with a score of 2-1 in favor of the Isérois.

Then, like 20 minutes earlier, the BDL scored on their first action after returning from the locker room. Koudri broke through the Gap defense without much difficulty and deceived Richard from close range. Then Aubin, still in superiority, imitated his teammate less than 10 minutes from the siren. One goal too many for the Raptors, who conceded two more in the last 5 minutes (6-2). Correia scored a double in the final moments (6-3). Next meeting for the Haut-Alpins Tuesday in Amiens. Grenoble, for its part, will host Angers on Sunday.

In Gap (Alp’Arena ice rink), Gap 3 – Grenoble 6 (1-1, 0-1, 2-4). 2793 spectators.

Referee: MM. Bliek and Garbay assisted MM. Margry and Zede.

Goals for Gap: 8’43 Correia (Meisaari), 46’50 Y. Coulaud (Chauvel), 59’35 Correia (Joubert, Bourgeois).

Goals for Grenoble: 14′ Deschamps (Aubin) (5-4), 20’48 Lavoie (Deschamps, Aubin) (5-4), 40’38 Koudri (Treille), 51’11 Aubin (5-4), 55’27 Bachelet ( Rouhiainen, Crinon), 55’52 Dair (Munoz, Daneau).

Penalties: 10′ (5X2′) against Gap; 6′ (3X2′) against Grenoble.

Eric Blais (Gap coach): “We lost another player this (Friday) evening who went to the hospital. It’s starting to do a lot for us. That makes three major attackers, we are also missing a defender who will be back after the break, our goalkeeper (Samu Perhonen, ill) spent the evening in the locker room, but Gaëtan (Richard) was very good. It’s like that. Grenoble was effective in power play, there is not much to say. I told the players that all the efforts made in this match will serve us well for the future. You have to get through this. »

Sacha Treille (captain of Grenoble): “The score is difficult for Gap. We expected them to start strong, we were ready for that but we got off to a bad start anyway. We knew how to react in the second third and our power plays were good. A 6th victory in a row is good for the group’s confidence. Especially since it wasn’t easy to come and establish yourself here. We are very happy. We have two big matches coming up against Angers and Rouen, they are important to us because we missed them during the first part of the season. »

In Nice (Jean Bouin), Chamonix bat Nice 2-1 (0-1, 0-0, 1-1).

Goal for Nice: 49’37 Abramov (Nikiforov, Rychagov).

Goals for Chamonix: Sailio (Walker, Brassard), 57:24 Pence

Marseille – Briançon 4-2

In the game most of the time, but stuck in stereotypical games, too predictable and therefore once again ineffective in power play and guilty, like Tuesday in the Coupe de France, of two enormous defensive errors sanctioned by the opponent, the Briançonnais naively offered the three points to a Marseille team that was far from convincing…

Briançon very quickly opened the scoring with an individual exploit from Villiot, while Ciliak had not yet captured a single puck. An excellent introduction to the Haut-Alpins which had the effect of… destabilizing them. They immediately piled up three completely avoidable penalties and found themselves five against three. At the end of a very long double superiority of more than three minutes, the Marseillais logically equalized through their new Swedish recruit Aslin, while a fourth Briançonnais had just joined his team in the box play. The Spartans then took partial control of the puck until the first break, without being very dangerous or managing to change the score.

Another mistake from Akerman

Like the start of the match, the Devils found the net as soon as they returned from the locker room, on a one-timer from Balint Horvath, perfectly offset by Carnback. Continuing the game, Maki and Villiot presented themselves as a pair against Ciliak, but the Marseille goalkeeper pushed back. The two teams then took turns gaining momentum, before the Briançonnais clearly took the upper hand. But while the latter were besieging the Spartans’ goal, Stolyarov stole the cake from Kluuskeri on the Briançon offensive blue and went to deceive Broz alone one minute before the second break. Cruel for the Devils who had until then only conceded two shots over the period…

The match swung in favor of the Bouches-du-Rhône hockey players at the start of the third period, with another very gross Briançon defensive error. A game almost identical to that of Tuesday evening Coupe de France, where Akerman offered a golden puck in front of Broz’s goal to Ten Braak, who had scored the goal of Marseille’s qualification. This Friday evening, we took the same ones and started again… Akerman, while the Devils were playing in the numerical advantage, awkwardly lost the puck while cutting in front of the Briançon goal. A puck recovered by Stolyarov who offered an empty cage to Ten Braak for the 3 to 2. A blow to the Briançonnais helmets who never recovered… Kadlec, in an empty cage, brought the score to 4 to 2 to seven seconds from the end of the match.

In Marseille (Palais Omnisports de Marseille Grand-Est), Marseille beats Briançon 4 to 2 (1-1,1-1, 2-0)

Referees: MM. Peyre and Hauchart assisted by MM. Ugolini and Biot. 4491 spectators.

Goals for Marseille: 5’00 Aslin (Rockwell, Stolyarov), 38’55 Stolyarov, 40’49 Ten Braak (Stolyarov), 59’53 Kadlec (Rockwell, Stolyarov)(5-4)(cage vide)

Goals for Briançon: 1’38 Villiot, 21’07 M. Horvath (Carnback, R. Colomban).

Penalties: 8′ against Marseille, 10′ against Briançon.
