Before the kick-off at 8 p.m. there will be the presentation of the Manneke of the Season. The trophy will be presented by outgoing CEO Frédéric Van den Steen and technical director Gyorgy Csepregi to the player who received the most votes from the fans.
After the match, the players and staff make a lap of honor through the stadium while a stage is set up just in front of the main stand. There they can hang a medal around their neck and raise the champion’s trophy into the air.
Another report from the club: “At Beerschot it is tradition to have one pitch invasion to do so, but we emphatically ask the supporters not to do this until after the presentation. Otherwise there is a chance that the stage cannot be built and that the confetti cannons may not be used. Our intention is for everything to continue as planned,” says spokesperson Luther Rommens.
In any case, extra manpower has been provided – from stewards to student workers – to ensure everything runs smoothly.

The champions are also expected at the Grote Markt in Antwerp next Monday at 6:30 PM. Initially, 4:30 PM was announced, but that is still late for the working supporters. Sunday was not possible because of the 10 Miles.
Chairman Francis Vrancken, Sports Alderman Peter Wouters and Mayor Bart De Wever will give a speech. Afterwards, all players and staff members can write their names in the city’s guest book. Around 7.15 pm they appear on the balcony of ‘t Schoon Verdiep to greet the masses on the Grote Markt. Officially the ceremony lasts until 8:30 PM.
