Fresh food is becoming more and more expensive: “If the prices of fruit and vegetables continue to rise, we will be more likely to remove them from the shopping list” | Fit & Healthy

In a new publication by the National Bank on the consequences of the corona crisis, the strong price increase of fresh food is particularly striking. Unprocessed foods, such as fresh fruit and vegetables, were on average 7.2 percent more expensive in September than in September 2019. In comparison, the price of processed foods rose by 2.1 percent.
