In a new publication by the National Bank on the consequences of the corona crisis, the strong price increase of fresh food is particularly striking. Unprocessed foods, such as fresh fruit and vegetables, were on average 7.2 percent more expensive in September than in September 2019. In comparison, the price of processed foods rose by 2.1 percent.
