A famous French writer is arrested. Frederik Begbeder was questioned at the Po police station, the radio reported France Blueciting sources.
The 58-year-old writer was called in for questioning, after which a decision was made to detain him, as quoted by Focus.
“Frederic Begbeder has been questioned as part of the preliminary investigation. This case is not related to drugs, for now I will not make any further comments,” stressed prosecutor Rodolphe Jarry.
Frédéric Begbeder is a French novelist, publicist, literary critic and actor. Among his most famous novels are “Memoirs of a Freaky Youth”, “Rest in a Coma”, “Love Lasts Three Years”, “The Romantic Egoist”, “99 Francs”.
