Chaos ensued on social media shortly after when French sprinter Anthony Amirati failed to pass the bar because… his genitals were found on him!
The 21-year-old athlete looked set to clear 5.70m until his genitalia did him a favor on his third attempt on Saturday, sending him viral on social media.
As expected, the incident sparked countless comments on social media, with many users referencing the athlete.

Anthony Ammirati had already cleared two heights before his genitalia spoiled his score. He eventually finished 12th with a height of 5.60 in the first group.
His compatriots Robin Emig and Thibault Collet recorded heights of 5.60m and 5.75m respectively.
