For these French championships, no Léon Marchand, still in the United States, but some big names in the discipline. Florent Manaudou, Yohann Ndoye Brouard, Maxime Grousset, Damien Joly and Logan Fontaine will seek to gain confidence among the gentlemen. On the women’s side, Charlotte Bonnet will be the main headliner of these French championships, she who intends to participate in her fourth Olympic Games in Paris. His training partner and Team SPORTMAG athlete, Madelon Catteau, will also be there in Angers.
“Many athletes will have this ambition, which promises us exciting races in Angers”adds Julien Issoulié. “With the major objective of this season being the Paris Olympic Games next summer, we are looking forward to the opportunity to do a series of races under pressure to test the swimmers’ ability to withstand it. We have no doubt about the intensity of the competitions at the end of the year (Angers then Bucharest) and we will closely monitor everyone’s fitness at the start of the Olympic season. »
