Daktronics and Pekason Unveil High-Performance LED Displays for Stade Toulousain
Stade Ernest-Wallon, France – In a significant upgrade for one of France’s premier rugby clubs, Daktronics has collaborated with AV systems provider Pekason to install a state-of-the-art LED display system at Stade Toulousain’s home ground, Stade Ernest-Wallon. This installation marks a major enhancement in the venue’s visual capabilities, bringing fans an immersive experience during matches and events.
The new displays, positioned at both ends of the stadium, stand at an impressive 4.5 meters high and 8.3 meters wide. These advanced screens replace the original Daktronics displays, which were installed in 2008. The recent upgrade notably improves resolution, decreasing the pixel spacing from 23mm to an impressive 10mm, resulting in noticeably crisper and clearer images for spectators.
The high-resolution displays are not only designed to elevate the viewing experience but also to provide versatile content options. With the capability of variable content zoning, these LED displays can showcase one large image or be divided into multiple zones. This allows for a dynamic presentation of live video, instant replays, match statistics, vibrant graphics, animations, and essential sponsorship messages, ensuring that fans receive comprehensive coverage of all on-field action.
"This collaboration with Pekason emphasizes our commitment to delivering top-tier visual solutions that enhance the fan experience," said a spokesperson from Daktronics. "The upgraded LED displays at Stade Ernest-Wallon are a testament to the integration of cutting-edge technology in sports venues."
As Stade Toulousain continues to build its legacy in French rugby, this investment in modern technology serves as a vital tool for engaging fans and promoting the club’s brand. The innovative displays are set to transform the atmosphere during matches, providing a visual feast that complements the excitement of the game.
With the new LED displays now operational, fans at Stade Ernest-Wallon can look forward to a richer, more interactive experience as they cheer on their team throughout the season.
