French PSG eyeing Bayer Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso as potential replacement for Christophe Galtier

French PSG are considering Bayer Leverkusen head coach Xabi Alonso as one of the candidates to replace Christophe Galtier, according to RMC Sport.

Representatives of the Parisians contacted the 41-year-old specialist and discussed the terms of possible cooperation. During the conversation, Alonso made it clear that he prefers Real Madrid, but for now he is counting on extending his contract with Bayer.

Recall that the Spaniard led the “pharmacists” in the winter, leading the team to the semi-finals of the Europa League.
