After competing at the Denmark Open 2021, the Indonesian badminton players will continue to play French Open 2021. A number of Indonesian representatives will start their struggle today.
The French Open 2021 will be held at the Stade Pierre de Courbertin, Paris, on October 26-31 2021. In this World Tour Super 750 tournament, Indonesia will send 10 representatives.
Shesar Hiren Rhustavito so the only representative of Indonesia in the men’s singles number. That was after Anthony Sinisuka Ginting and Jonatan Christie retired due to injury.
Vito will play the first round match today, Tuesday (10/26/2021). He will face Canada’s representative, Brian Yang.
In men’s doubles, Dawn Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto will also compete. The pair who are placed as the third seed will be challenged by the Scottish doubles, Alexander Dunn / Adam Hall.
From women’s singles, Gregoria Mariska Tunjung will face the test of seventh seed Mia Blichfeldt. In head to head, Gregoria won 2-1 over the Danish player. However, Gregoria lost to Mia in the last meeting at the Singapore Open 2019.
