Words

Lauriane Nolot: “This week has been complicated and long but I’m really happy with the end result. There is really level on the water. I wanted to confirm after my victory in Palma. I answered present. I was less stressed than in Palma for this final and the wind, which continued to rise, gave me a little advantage given my size, which is a little heavier than my direct competitors”.

Fabien Pianozza: “It was a great week with quite strong Mistral during the first two days. Afterwards ? That’s a bit complicated with very light winds but, in the end, we still did 15 races, which is pretty good. Today, I manage to win the three races, the quarter, the half and the final and I win the SOF. The atmosphere on the water with the other participants was amazing. I did well to come”.

Axel Mazella: “The race with Maximilian was very intense. We were a bit overpowered for this final but I gave it my all. After our last big days, I was able to recover well and I arrived in great shape this morning. I am very happy with this victory even if Maximilian deserved it as much as me. He is a very good opponent”.
