The French national team ended the adventure of its Moroccan counterpart in the Women’s World Cup in soccer, by overwhelmingly defeating it 4-0 on Tuesday in Adelaide on its way to the quarter-finals, where it will face Australia, one of the two host countries for the tournament.
Kenza Daly (15), Kadidiato Diagne (20) and Eugenie Le Sommer (23 and 70) scored France’s goals.
France faces Australia next Saturday in Brisbane.
