37-year-old French actor Gaspar Ullier died in a tragic accident while skiing. In a statement, his family confirmed his death, his agent told AFP.
Houllier became famous for his roles as the young Hannibal Lecter and fashion mogul Yves Saint Laurent in the biographical film Saint Laurent.
He is also the face of Chanel’s masculine fragrance, “Bleu de Chanel.” 2001), Kiss Whom You Want (2002), starring Ulie in the upcoming Marvel television series Moon Knight.
Houllier won “Cesar” – the French equivalent of “Oscar” – for Best Actor in 2017 for “This is Only the End of the World”, in which he starred alongside Marion Cotillard and Lea Seydou. His first Cesar Award was in 2004 for his most promising actor after starring in World War I drama The Infinite Engagement with Audrey Tautou.
