Spokesperson for the Armed Forces French Pascal Ianni evaluates the team Russia not ready to invade Ukraine. No, they face many difficulties in the field.
“Especially in the field of logistics and in the field of intelligence,” Ianni told French TV station France2, Friday (11/3).
Similar to Ianni’s opinion, the British Ministry of Defense also said there were still logistical problems that hindered Russia’s progress.
“Russian forces continue to make “limited progress”. Logistical problems hindering Russia’s progress remain, as does the strong Ukrainian resistance,” the UK Ministry of Defense said in an intelligence update posted on the official @DefenceHQ Twitter account.
Apart from logistical problems, Pascal Ianni also predicted the possibility of a new attack on the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv in the next few days.
“It is possible that an attack on Kyiv will be carried out in the next few days, but actually capturing Kyiv is another matter and will take a very long time,” he said, pointing to the Russian Army’s “reserve problem”.
“Russian soldiers are also stuck in a premature spring,” he added.
Melting ground conditions can cause mobility problems for the military.
For information, 64 kilometers of a Russian military convoy near the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, is seen on the Maxar Technologies satellite image. This satellite image was taken at 11.37 Kyiv time, Thursday (10/3).
However, Maxar Technologies said the satellite image showed part of the Russian military convoy disbanded and moved to a forest and tree-lined area near Lubyanka, Ukraine.
“Most of it is scattered and moved,” says Maxar Technologies.
