Things were hot on Wednesday in the semi-final between Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City. After the red card from Idrissa Gueye comes Riyad Mahrez get redress from the referee, but then comes Mitchel Bakker run up. The Dutchman wonders why Mahrez asks for a card, the Algerian seems to have no idea who he is facing.
“Check it out,” Mahrez told referee Felix Brych after Gueye Ilkay knocked Gündogän down. “This is a foul!” Next, Bakker approaches. “Why do you ask? You haven’t even seen anything.”
Mahrez is not impressed by that: “Go away, stand there. Who is this guy?”
