An expected revision of the PRS, validated upstream by the favorable opinions of the Regional Conference for Health and Autonomy (CRSA) and the Territorial Collectivity of Guyana (CTG).
Significant changes, including the authorization of new care activities, the transformation of the Delocalized Prevention and Care Centers (CDPS) of Maripasoula, Saint-Georges and Grand-Santi into local hospitals, or even the balancing of provision of health care across the territory.
The work also makes it possible to give the green light for easier access to kidney transplantation in the territory, the development of peritoneal dialysis, pediatric resuscitation activities, or the development of pediatric sub-specialties, among other fields of care that is lacking in the territory.
