A few months ago, three bridges like these were delivered to Ukraine, north of kyiv in the Chernihiv region. Paul-Antoine Nicolaudie, International Affairs Manager at Matière, says: “ There were around 70 bridges that had been destroyed, with the need to rebuild them very quickly to deliver humanitarian aid to the populations and also to reconnect certain villages that were generally cut off from the national network. Hence the importance of rebuilding these bridges quickly. Overall, all the employees of the Matière company feel a certain pride in working on this type of terrain. ».

The Cantal company could deliver around thirty bridges to Ukraine, mainly in the regions of Kharkiv, in the east, or Kherson, in the south of the country. Philippe Matière, Managing Director of the company, explains: “ We are in a country at war. The war is not over. Our interlocutors have concerns that are not just those of rebuilding the country’s infrastructure. Obviously, what is important to them is that the infrastructure is used by civilians and the military. It’s up to us to adapt ».
