German biathlete Vanessa Foigtt was 11 seconds behind, shooting without mistakes. But the trio was finished by Caroline Offigstad Knoten from Norway, who was 12.8 seconds behind Simon.
Baiba Bendika went to the track with number 28. She made two mistakes in the first line of fire, but as the competitors were not accurate, she returned to the 21st position on the track at that time. There was one mistake in the second shooting range, which allowed him to move up to the position at that time. She finished 57.3 seconds slower than the leader. Bendika ranked 39th.
Annie Kate Sabule made two mistakes in the first line of fire, but did not close the goal once in the second. She reached the finish line in 4 minutes, 39.4 seconds behind the winner, taking 83rd place.

According to her, the head was the most disturbed in this competition – she lacked confidence. She did not shoot in the competition as she usually shoots in training. But now – after the Olympics, after the illness and all the experiences – now she feels much better than before.
Buliņa told Latvijas Radio that he managed to shoot relatively well in this competition, that it compares with the performance of this season. The step in the distance has been difficult, the season is coming to an end. But judging by this season, Buliņa admitted that he is not satisfied.

In the overall standings, the leader in the sprint with 364 points is Marte Ulsbū-Reiselanne from Norway, the second with 316 points is Elvira Ēberg from Sweden, and behind her with her sister Hanna Ēberg with 304 points. Bendika with 64 points is in 35th place.
Bendika scored 108 points in all disciplines and is in 43rd place.
The World Cup stage will continue on Saturday, when the ladies and gentlemen will play in the mass start, but on Sunday there will be a mixed relay and a mixed doubles relay.
