On the afternoon of Wednesday, September 25, the atrium of the Central Building of the Universidad Juárez del Estado de Durango (UJED) was filled with Mexican and French music during this week’s edition of the University Cultural Forum, a program hosted by cultural promoter Alfredo Holguín.
This space, which belongs to the Cultural Diffusion Department of the highest house of studies, brings together, as every Wednesday, the participation of artists involved as students or teachers within the university, with the intention of providing them with a space to project their proposals before the Durango community.
On this occasion, the presence of accordionist Oscar Chefshelios from Culiacán, Sinaloa, and the Alma Group from Mexico directed by maestro Oscar Rey was counted on.
The program featured songs from the popular Mexican repertoire, both from the instrumentalist and the vocal group, while Chefshelios also added some songs with a Parisian feel.
