The French actress Emmanuelle Beart, star of the movie ‘Mission Impossible’, declared on Tuesday that in childhood she was a victim of incest, collect AFP.
In a documentary, ‘Such a Resounding Silence’, Beart claimed that the incestuous relationships began when he was 10 years old and lasted until he was 14 years old. She, however, did not specify what relationship links her to the abuser, because, according to the co-director of the film, Anastasia Mikova, it was not “the focus of the film.” In addition, Mikova indicated that the rapist was not the father of the actress, the famous singer Guy Beart.
In a video message shown at a press conference, Beart said he had not initially wanted to tell his own story, but those of other incest victims. However, “her honesty and her bravery made me want to talk too,” she added.
Also, in the documentary the actress addressed the abuser. “Since my father, mother and friends didn’t notice anything, you were able to do it again, and you did it for four years,” Beart said, adding that she was “saved” by her grandmother.
