The set designer testified to the news site Mediapart that Depardieu made a number of lewd comments during the filming in Paris, after which he later “brutally grabbed her” and “caressed her waist, her stomach and then her breasts”. The actor’s bodyguards are said to have interrupted the aggression.
The two women wish to remain anonymous.
Gérard Depardieu has also been under investigation since December 2020 for possible rape and sexual assault of actress Charlotte Arnould. Depardieu continues to deny all allegations.
