Do a voluntary service at the inclusive elementary school Centro Educativo Nova.
Would you like to get out into the world and develop yourself personally? Volunteering at Centro Educativo Nova is a great way to get hands-on experience and immerse yourself in a new culture!
The inclusive elementary school is located in the beautiful Andean city of Cuenca. The school is attended by around 100 children between the ages of 3 and 11. About half of the children have a disability. Nova comes from Latin and means new. The Centro wants to enable children to have a new education in which everyone has equal rights. The aim of the school is to support each child individually and to enable a respectful cooperation while playing, learning, dreaming and being creative. The classes therefore consist of a maximum of 15 students. The school also works closely with the children’s families.
