Freiburg: “You for all – we for you.” – Sparkasse Freiburg-Nördlicher Breisgau supports non-profit associations and institutions in the Corona crisis with a donation campaign of 100,000 euros – funding from a special fund can be requested from September 20

The Sparkasse Freiburg-Nördlicher Breisgau supports the customers affected by the corona pandemic. We have deferred numerous loan repayments at the request of our customers and advised and supported companies in arranging the necessary public funding. But who takes care of the many associations and non-profit organizations that are also suffering severely from the crisis and its restrictions? The chairman of the board of directors of the Sparkasse, Marcel Thimm: “We have been supporting the associations and public institutions in our business area for many years and now we want to help them get through this difficult crisis. Because their work is of great importance for cultural and social development and diversity and must be preserved. For this reason we decided to run a fundraising campaign with a total of 100,000 euros ”.

From September 20th to October 4th, the Sparkasse offers all non-profit associations and institutions in the business area that are also customers of the Sparkasse the opportunity to use the online form at www.nicht-ohne-euch.de to provide funding from this special fund request. In phase 1 of the fundraising campaign, a part of the amount will be raffled among the applications received (legal recourse excluded). In the following phase 2, those applicants who were not drawn in phase 1 are presented on the Sparkasse’s Facebook account. By collecting ‘likes’ you have another chance to receive funding.

“As a savings bank, we live with and from our customers here on site. It is therefore a matter of course for us to take part in overcoming this particular crisis, ”said Marcel Thimm.
