Freiburg: Work on the new cycle path on Günterstalstraße in Freiburg is progressing – from September 21, only one lane between Talstraße and Bundesstraße 31

The construction work in Günterstalstraße for the new, two-meter-wide cycle path is making good progress – the construction site will move on next week. This will temporarily lead to diversions elsewhere and possibly to traffic obstructions. On Monday, September 21st, work will begin on the new cycle lane between Talstrasse and the B 31 (Schillerstrasse). In the Günterstalstraße there is only one lane available in this section, approximately at the level of the Johanneskirche. If you want to turn right onto the B 31 from Günterstalstraße, you will be diverted via Talstraße.

People walking cannot cross the valley road and will be diverted. Work on this section will take until around mid-October. The GuT asks for your understanding for the impairments.
