Freiburg: The traveler is said to have ripped Schaffner’s mouth and nose protection off his face – when he stopped at Freiburg’s main train station, a police patrol seized the man

A 66-year-old man was caught on the regional train without a valid ticket. The man is said to have gotten so angry that he allegedly ripped the mouth and nose protection off the handler’s face. The federal police intervened.

On Monday morning (December 12, 2022), the 66-year-old German citizen was traveling on a regional train. In Freiburg im Breisgau, the man was caught checking a ticket. Unable to show a valid ticket, the conductor asked for the man’s identity card. As a result, the 66-year-old is said to have become so aggressive that he allegedly grabbed the inspector’s face. He is said to have ripped off his mouth and nose protection.

The train attendant notified the federal police. When he stopped at Freiburg main station, a police patrol took over the man. Due to suspicions of bodily harm, the federal police have launched an investigation.
