Freiburg: Munster market in Freiburg: New coffee stand “El Purica” ​​starts operation

Since Monday, June 29, 2020, the new coffee stand “El Purica” ​​from Au has started operating on the south side of Freiburg’s Münster market. The operators of the new coffee stand have been selling sustainably traded coffee beans from Costa Rica on the Münster market since 2012. Due to the high demand, the market commission had already decided last year to advertise a coffee stand on the south side of the Freiburg Münster market. As a result, the “El Purica” coffee stand was awarded the contract. The stand will be allocated for two years. In 2022, all snack stands will be put out to tender again every 5 years.

Due to the corona pandemic, special hygiene measures are currently being taken for all snacks on the Münster market, such as wearing gloves, disinfecting hands after customer contact, separating cash and goods, no sauce dispenser, spit protection and keeping longer distances when queuing.
