On Friday around 12.30 p.m. there was an incident in the tram in the Oberlinden area in Freiburg.
A 51-year-old woman rode on the tram without a face mask and reacted very aggressively and insultingly to other passengers and the tram driver’s address.
When VAG ticket examiners spoke to the lady at the Oberlinden stop and was expelled from the tram, she began to spit on, trample and hit the VAG staff.
Even in the presence of the police, the rioter found it difficult to calm down. Her hand clasps had to be applied.
The police station Freiburg-Nord (phone: 0761-882-4221) has started the investigation and is looking for witnesses who observed the incident or who can provide further information on the matter.
