A 44-year-old with Hungarian citizenship did not appear at his court hearing, so he was wanted with an arrest warrant and arrested by the federal police.
The man was checked on Thursday afternoon (September 17, 2020) by officers of the federal police in Freiburg im Breisgau. When comparing the data, the officers noticed that the man had an arrest warrant. Although the 44-year-old was summoned by the court and informed of the consequences of his unexcused absence, he decided not to attend the main hearing in August this year.
At the trial, the man was charged with a property crime. The 44-year-old was arrested by the federal police and brought before the judge. He was then taken to the penal institution, where he is now waiting for the next main hearing.
