This incident is reminiscent of the alleged kidnapping of Madeleine McCann: a man in Freiburg apparently tried to carry a little boy away – in front of his father’s eyes.

Freiburg – An unknown man reported on Wednesday in the Freiburg city center picked up a strange child and apparently wanted to carry it away.
Freiburg: Police are looking for a dubious man
That shared the Police in Breisgau at the weekend and asked the population to help clarify the incident. Accordingly, an immediately initiated search remained without results.

That had happened: Like the father of the 5 year old child immediately after the incident police announced, the child was playing at around 2 p.m. at the Bächle in Kaiser-Joseph-Strasse / Schiffstrasse when an unknown man took the boy in his arms and apparently wanted to move away from the location.
Incident in Freiburg: man also spoke to a little girl
As the police report goes on to say, the man dropped the child again when the father spoke to him. He is supposed to go in the direction Münsterplatz in Freiburg city center to have fled.
But that’s not all: according to the police, according to testimony, the man had previously tried to hug a stranger girl. The man is described as follows:
- about 1.80 to 1.90 meters tall, slim, about 80 kg, mid 30 to 40 years old, half bald and dark brown short hair, short beard, dark eyes, European appearance
- he wore dark jeans, a dark McKinley jacket, and carried a butcher’s bag with him
