Freiburg: July 13th: Afternoon for caring relatives, friends and neighbors in Freiburg – event in the community center in Seepark

Relatives, friends and neighbors provide valuable support and support for people in need of care on a daily basis. To recognize them and to inform the public, an “afternoon for caring relatives” will take place on Wednesday, July 13, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the community center in Seepark.

It begins at 2 p.m. with a performance by saxophonist Mike Schweizer. In order for visitors to be able to get an overview of the individual stands, all the suppliers first introduce themselves. At 2.30 p.m. Mayor Ulrich von Kirchbach welcomes the guests with a greeting.

Those interested can talk to others over coffee and cake and take part in the panel discussion “How can good care be successful?” from 3.30 p.m. Waltraud Keller (Nursing Care Network), Friedhelm Sapel (Palliative Care Network) and Judit Hasler (Getting Older in the Northwest) discuss with Ute Dieing, a family caregiver, and Helmut Senf, a former caregiver son and husband.

Information stands are all about possible relief and financial or legal framework conditions. At 5 p.m. Mike Schweizer accompanies the guests with music on their way home.

Participation is free of charge. For better planning, the organizers ask you to register in the senior citizens’ office with care support point (Tel. 201-3032, [email protected]) by July 8th.
