On Sunday, January 2, 2022, at 3 p.m., young and old will experience a fairytale adventure in the concert hall in Freiburg im Breisgau: Theater Liberi stages the famous story as a modern musical for the whole family. Professional musical performers ensure an entertaining live experience for children from four years of age, parents and grandparents with fast-paced songs and choreographies, lots of energy and lots of humor.
Poisoned fruit and a mysterious potion:
For centuries every child has known the famous question: “Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the most beautiful in the whole country?” Getting rid of stepdaughter. But the courageous heroine manages to escape and takes refuge deep in the forest. She meets the seven dwarfs who live hidden and withdrawn from the people and keep an old secret. Only the daring prince seems to have been initiated by the dwarfs. Snow White wants to find out what it’s all about and she is right in the middle of an adventure involving friendship, love, poisoned fruit and a stolen magic potion …
Classic motif retold:
The energetic adaptation by Liberi author Helge Fedder re-stages the story of good versus evil. “Snow White has little to do with the queen’s vanity and she proves that character traits such as courage, helpfulness and determination are much more important than mere appearance,” reveals leading actress Nicole Elisabeth Lehmann. Snow White’s adventure is accompanied by specially composed titles by musicians Christoph Kloppenburg and Hans Christian Becker. “Musically, the audience gets a lot on offer: opulent big band arrangements, rocky and soulful pop songs in a symbiosis of analog and electronic, but also poignant ballads and cross-genre catchy tunes”, says Kloppenburg.

The musical lasts two hours including a 20-minute break and is suitable for children from four years of age.
Advance ticket sales cost 30, – / 27, – / 23, – / 18, – euros depending on the category, children up to 14 years of age receive a reduction of 2, – euros. The price at the box office is plus 2 euros.
