Freiburg im Breisgau: Committed to helping refugees from Ukraine: SV SparkassenVersicherung hands over a check for 10,000 euros to the “Bildung für alle eV” in Freiburg

Freiburg, November 29, 2022: As part of its campaign “SV helps! Ukraine”, SV SparkassenVersicherung supports regional institutions and projects in its area of activity that pledge to help refugees from Ukraine with a total of up to 250,000 euros. The aim is to promote initiatives that offer children and their families new perspectives and support local integration.

“Education for all electric vehicles”. has been committed since 2014 to providing new immigrants with adequate support services on their journey to work. With the outbreak of war in Ukraine, the association increased the number of language courses and founded a temporary school where refugee teachers allow Ukrainian children to graduate in their own language and implement continuation of lessons.

Veit Cornelis is delighted with the donation and says “with our donations we create learning places where people from different backgrounds enter into an open exchange and learn a new solidarity with each other. With the donation of the SV SparkassenVersicherung a donation for the literacy of the La Latin language is now possible, in order to give the elderly in particular access to the German language”.

“We support the projects of the association “Bildung für alle eV” so that Ukrainian children and young people can graduate, but also older people can gain access to our language. Education is one of the most important requirements to be able to participate in the solidarity in times of crisis to live and move forward,” said Maik Klaiber, organizational director of the SV in Baden-Württemberg when the check was handed over.
