With 21-year-old Enrico Salvarani, a new face comes to the goalkeeper position in the Breisgau. The native of Mannheim went through the youth of Adler Mannheim and was able to celebrate the DNL championship with the young eagles from 2013 to 2017. In the 2014/15 season, the goalie was already breathing DEL2 air at the Heilbronn Falcons. He spent his first full season in the senior division in the Oberliga Nord at the ESC Wohnbau Moskitos Essen before wearing the Hannover Scorpions jersey for the past two years.

He is a young player with a lot of ambition and has already gained a lot of experience and ice age in the league over the past two years. We had some very good discussions. He has a great character, good references and is really happy to be part of the wolf pack. ”

The goalkeeper team is completed by the contract extension of Luis Benzing. The 20-year-old, born in Schwenninger, went through all of the junior positions at Wild Wings before moving into the Wolves’ squad for the first time last season.
“When we needed him, he did a great job, even if he had little ice age. He acted as our backup in most games and we always had great confidence in him. He works very hard and wants to get better every day. I’m really looking forward to continuing to work with him, ”said Peter Russell about the 181 cm tall keeper.
Together with Ben Meisner (29), Enrico Salvarani (21) and Luis Benzing (20) form the goalkeeper framework for the wolves for the upcoming DEL2 season.
