It starts again in a week from today! The EHC Freiburg starts the DEL2 season 2021/22 with the home game against the Löwen Frankfurt – and with it the Wölfe fans!
Before that happens, however, two more remote tests are on the agenda. Head coach Robert Hoffmann’s team will meet the Memmingen Indians from the Oberliga on Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. The Indians have been preparing well so far and only had to admit defeat last week after extra time against the second division club from Bad Tölz. So not an easy task for the Wolves team.
After a day’s break at Lake Constance and a training session on foreign ice, the seventh and last preparatory game of this season will continue on Sunday. At 5 p.m. the wolf pack will meet EV Lindau with ex-wolf Matthias Nemec in the gate. The top division from Lake Constance has only been able to win one game in the preparation of three games and will demand everything from the Freiburg team to correct this statistic upwards.
Framework situation:
The import player and freshly baked father Scott Allen has now pitched his tents again in Breisgau and will be on the ice again in the EHC jersey from today. Christoph Kiefersauer is also ready for action again. Only the ailing Marvin Neher and Luca Trinkberger are not available this weekend.
