On Tuesday evening (December 27, 2022), the 53-year-old presented himself at the federal police station in Freiburg im Breisgau.
The reason was a theft report that the man wanted to report.
When the personal data was compared, it emerged that an arrest warrant against the German citizen had yet to be executed. A court sentenced him to a fine for disturbing the peace by threatening to commit a crime, but he did not pay it. The man was also unable to pay the sum on the spot, which is why the federal police arrested him.
During the search, the officers found a small amount of drugs, which was seized.
After filing a complaint, the federal police handed the man over to a prison. There he is serving a 60-day substitute prison sentence.
