SPD member of the state parliament Gabi Rolland welcomes the initiative of the city of Freiburg to apply as a model municipality for Tempo 30, expressly: “For reasons of road safety and sustainable mobility, it is absolutely right and overdue to introduce Tempo 30 on all streets in the urban area.”

The city of Freiburg has therefore turned to the responsible Federal Ministry of Transport so that it can take the necessary measures for the new regulation. “The municipalities must be given the option of this Tempo 30 regulation through a change in the Road Traffic Act (StVO). Federal Transport Minister Scheuer cannot refuse to accept this important concern, ”said Rolland.
