On Sunday afternoon (January 8, 2023), a federal police patrol checked the Syrian citizen at Freiburg im Breisgau main station. When the personal data was checked, it was discovered that a warrant for the man’s arrest had to be executed. The 18-year-old was sentenced to twelve months’ imprisonment for dangerous bodily harm. As the wanted person did not appear in custody by the agreed date, a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was arrested and taken to a prison.
