Yesterday evening around 7:05 p.m. a wheelchair user was in the tram of line 3 and left the train at the Vauban-Mitte stop in Freiburg.
In the area of the confluence with Kurt-Tucholsky-Strasse, she was approached by a man she did not know, who wanted to involve her in a conversation. The stranger then grabbed the wheelchair user in the handbag hanging on the wheelchair and stole the red leather bag with around 40 euros in cash, bank and credit cards as well as various identification papers.
Parts of the contents of the purse have meanwhile been found by playing children in the area of Harriet-Straub-Strasse and handed over to the police.
