Increase in the SUBE and its repercussion in Río Gallegos

In this sense Daniel Hoyospresident of the Rotary Club of Río Gallegos, spoke with WeatherSouth and explained that: “We are -again- resuming the vaccination days that we had suspended, but we decided that the program has to continue. We made the corresponding adjustments and went back to work”, he clarified.
On the other hand the Dr. Castroone of the professionals who are involved in the Campaign, gave her opinion to WeatherSouth that: “This type of conference has been held regularly at the Rotary Club for many years, it is a tradition, especially when it comes to prevention and vaccination, so we want to start informing the community that they can come to get vaccinated on Thursday and Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. here at the Rotary Club. We are giving the flu vaccine for people under 65 years of age and we are going to extend the vaccination schedule,” added the health professional.
One of the premises of this initiative is that the community of Río Gallegos can be “informed, whether it is about doubts or queries they have. They can come at this time and I also want to establish as a guideline that The Rotary is going to be a specific place for them to get vaccinated. We work together with the Ministry of Health in the Vaccination Campaign and we have -as a goal- prevention through vaccination and information to the community”
When asked by this means about the age range that can approach and carry out the Vaccination Campaign and what requirements must be presented at the time of vaccination, Castro pointed out that: “Children or adults who need them or those people who have a disease can come chronic in that age group. You have to bring the vaccination card and, in the event that they have lost it, we can provide them with proof but the ideal is that they bring it”.
Besides, Ines Uribe and Lic. María Betancourt, who are in the place carrying out the Vaccination Campaign, spoke with WeatherSouth and they pointed out that: “This vaccination campaign will not only be this Thursday and Friday, but it will be every Thursday and Friday from now on, so we convey to the community that we hope they come and we hope that this campaign that the Rotary Club has implemented is a total success”.

Finally, the president of the Rotary Club of the town of Río Gallegos, expressed to WeatherSouth his thanks to the different actors involved in the day and stressed that: “The community has to be healthy, our children have to reach adulthood healthy and immunized, and our homes must be immunized because we all live within the same family nucleus and if someone is not vaccinated -if they have a disease- they can infect the rest and, above all, adults. We want to remind you that this is a campaign that we do -in conjunction with the Ministry of Health- to raise awareness where we have to get vaccinated because we have to be aware that vaccines save lives”, he concluded.
