Square Enix announced on November 8 that it has released a free update for its action RPG “VALKYRIE ELYSIUM”. This work is on sale for PS4 / PS5. The PC (Steam) version scheduled for November 12 will be released with this update applied.
This work is the latest in the “Valkyrie” series, which began with “Valkyrie Profile” released in 1999. There are also elements of growth such as the acquisition of skills and upgrading of weapons, and elements of customization by combining Einferia Divine Arts.
In the free update released this time, new content has been added. First, a special “Hild’s Vengeance” mode has been added in which Hild becomes a playable character. You can enjoy a new action experience different from when you manage Valkyrie, such as shadow attacks and a skill tree dedicated to Hild.
A high difficulty “Seraphic Gate” time attack battle has also been added. It is released after completing the main story and can be played. In Seraphic Gate, there are restrictions on the weapons and skills that can be used for each floor and special rewards can be obtained by completing all battles. And “VERY HARD” and “VALKYRIE” have been added as new difficulty levels. It’s a setting that makes it even more difficult than the conventional difficulty.
