Free treatment for expatriate children in Kuwait

The Ministry of Health has made cancer treatment free of charge for all expatriate children in Kuwait. Diagnostic fees and treatment are free. This benefit is for children below 18 years of age.

Exemption from fees and charges for all health services regardless of residency. The service will be available to natives, non-residents and Biduns. The new exemption applies to services provided by the Ministry of Health in all hospitals and specialized medical centers for the treatment and follow-up of cancer and related diseases.

According to the Ministry of Health, children who are not natives of Kuwait must undergo an initial diagnosis and the age of the child at the initial diagnosis should not exceed 16 years and 18 years of age will continue to receive free treatment.
