Free Travel Tickets for Retirees in Tucumán: Health Operation and Vaccination included

In this sense, the head of the Ministry of Transportation, Vicente Nicastro, reported that there are approximately 70,000 beneficiaries of the free ticket, of which 30,000 correspond to San Miguel de Tucumán and 40,000 to the interior. The distribution is being carried out on different days for DNI completion figures, this Friday corresponds to those retirees with DNI ending in 6 and 7 and will extend until Tuesday of next week.

In this context, Jaldo expressed his satisfaction with the organization of the event, which allows for the delivery of tickets for the elderly: “These people have worked all their lives, they have formed families, they have cared for their children and grandchildren and at this age it was It is time that there are decisions of these characteristics, such as implementing the free ticket for all the elderly grandparents of Tucumán ”.

“I want to congratulate all the people who today are in charge of this responsibility that is not minor, receive the grandparents, give them the tickets, listen to their testimonies; some will use them to go to the doctor for checkups, others to visit their families and others to walk through Tafí del Valle, San Pedro de Colalao, the joy of each one of them is noticeable. Liliana Valdes, He highlighted that from the Nursing Directorate, at the request of the Ministry of Health, they are implementing different health posts, taking advantage of every opportunity to immunize: “Today we are vaccinating all those over 60 present, it is also an opportunity for them to do their checkups of risk factors, the nurses are controlling the blood pressure, the glycemia values ​​and they are also making all the recommendations to avoid illnesses”.

Valdés recounted: “Every day we have had a great reception, they are very interested, they have had very good treatment with the nurses, the boys have advised them and they are also learning about their immunization schedules and how to take care of their health, which is the most important thing ”.
